What is mead? Mead is known as honey wine, a beverage made from fermenting honey and water. Strad Meadery was founded in 2011 to replicate the "Nectar of the Gods". We use local honey and natural fruit for all fruit flavored mead that are fruit forward, refreshing and lightly carbonated. All of our meads have an ABV 7.5 - 8%.
