About Meadery Map

312 meaderies across 49 states, one page each.

There was no current list of American meaderies that a person could actually use to plan a visit. The places making mead are scattered across brewery directories, winery directories and trade association member pages, and most of those entries are years out of date. Meadery Map is one page per meadery with the details you need before you drive somewhere.

The site is run independently. It is not affiliated with any trade association, and no meadery pays to be included.

Where the data comes from

Almost every listing is built from the meadery's own public Google Business Profile, collected on 2026-09-19. That is the source of each address, phone number, website, set of opening hours and star rating on this site. It is refreshed periodically rather than continuously, so the date above is the honest one to judge it by. The exceptions are 2 meaderies our data source does not carry, added by hand from the meadery's own website. Each of those pages says so and gives the date.

What this list includes, and what it misses

The boundary is worth stating plainly rather than claiming the list is every meadery in the country. This directory holds businesses that have a Google Business Profile of their own. A meadery that trades under a parent winery's listing, or that has never claimed a listing, will not appear here even if it is well known locally. That is a real limit. If you know of one that is missing, tell us and it gets added.

About the star ratings

The ratings shown are Google's, collected on Google, and they are labelled that way on every page. Meadery Map does not gather its own reviews, does not rank meaderies by opinion, and does not take payment for a better rating or a higher score.

Opening hours change

Hours are a snapshot of published listing data, not a live feed. Meaderies are mostly small producers keeping short and seasonal hours, and taprooms close for private events. Call ahead before you travel.

Listings are free

Every meadery in the dataset is listed at no cost. Corrections are free too: an owner who proves a listing is theirs can fix its hours, phone and address themselves, and anyone can email us. A Claimed listing, $199 a year, adds the owner's own photos, a link to their website on their state page, the top spot on that page above unclaimed listings, and a Claimed marker. That is the whole of it. An unclaimed listing is never hidden, downgraded or removed, and paying does not change a meadery's position anywhere else on the site.

What is not here

Meadery Map covers visiting meaderies: where they are, when they open and what to expect when you walk in. It is not a homebrewing site and carries no recipes or how-to-make-mead content.

Corrections

Wrong detail, closed business, missing meadery. All of it goes to the same place and all of it gets fixed. See contact.
