BLACK MOUNTAIN CIDER + MEAD crafts dry ciders and sessionable meads in an old furniture factory nestled among the Blue Ridge Mountains of Western NC. Our ciders and meads harmonize fresh flavors with traditional wisdom. We are passionate about cider that is real, never filtered, pasteurized, or tainted with added sugars, concentrates, or manufactured flavors. We also craft lower-gravity sessionable meads, which are often less sweet and more approachable than traditional meads. Our approach to this oldest of beverages is steeped in tradition but guided by modern sensibilities, inspiring innovative flavors like coffee, almond, and beet.
