Open by appointment only, call to setup a tasting appointment and if no answer leave a detailed message. I am usually around but if not in the Meadery I am usually working on the property, cutting firewood, tending animals etc. so I may not be able to answer the phone. You can also text the number listed. I can also be found on HipCamp and Harvest Host.

New to mead?

What Is a Meadery?

A meadery is a place that makes mead, which is wine made from honey. Here is what that means in practice, and what you will find if you walk into one.

Is Mead Wine or Beer?

Mead is wine. It ferments from honey rather than grain, and federal law regulates it under the wine rules, even when it is poured in a taproom that feels like a brewery.

Mead Tasting: What to Expect on Your First Meadery Visit

What a mead tasting actually involves: flights, prices, how to order, whether you can tour the production side, and what to check before you drive out.

Types of Mead Explained

Melomel, metheglin, cyser, braggot. The words on a meadery tasting list all mean the same thing: mead, plus whatever went in alongside the honey.
