Hill Top Berry Farm & Winery is perched on a hill along the Nelson 151 Craft Beverage Trail. Opening in 1998 as the 51st winery in Virginia, it is the oldest meadery in VA! Almost 40 varieties of “True to the Fruit” Wine & Authentic Honey Meads are handcrafted in small batches on the farm and range from dry to sweet. With roots in farming prior to wine making, Hill Top still offers pick your own blackberries during the summer. Visit and feed friendly goats, sheep and other farm animals. Outdoor seating on a large deck or under a covered pavilion overlooks the pasture and berry fields and is surrounded by Blue Ridge Mountain views. There is also indoor seating, non alcoholic beverages, and a cheese shop. Wine & Mead flights start at just $5.
